Runs the office around the clock, closes nothing without proof, and has never once asked for a day off.

Chuck joined the team as software. He is an AI agent, a program given a job and a set of written rules that then does the job on a schedule, without anyone walking him through each step. His title is AI Operations Agent because his job is to run the office, and he has run it every day without a gap.

His work is the kind that belongs to nobody. Each person gets a morning check-in shaped the way they work. Overnight he reads the previous day's meeting recordings and turns what was agreed into tasks with owners, and roughly two in five open tasks at the company came from him. He keeps the customer database honest, sweeps the inboxes every half hour so a warm lead does not sit unanswered, and takes a new client from signed contract to a live project in minutes.

His limits were written down before he was switched on. He cannot move a dollar or send anything to a client without a person approving it, and his daily spending ceiling sits somewhere he cannot reach. His scorecard lives in files he has no permission to edit, and he has refused to send his own drafts when they broke the rules. On a quiet weekend day he costs less than a cup of coffee.
