### Start with one thing to pack.

Name your trip, then add one item. You can fill in the rest later.

The follow-up fits the saved context

Your packing list is still waiting. Add one item to get started.

Check that a list was not saved and the person can receive this message before using it.

**No list saved**

First list saved, then return use. An app open alone does not establish either.

## Mobile growth focused on first use

- A review of the first session, trial or paywall, and follow-up messages using the app data available.
- An agreed set of onboarding, paywall and push or email changes tied to a useful user action.
- Paid user acquisition, store work and creative managed together as part of the full growth program.
- Weekly decisions and a monthly report on what changed, return use and revenue, with recent results marked as incomplete.

Pricing

## Mobile growth, with an agreed monthly fee

The monthly service fee is agreed before you commit. The initial term is three months, then month to month. Onboarding, paywall and follow-up work sit inside the full growth retainer, alongside user acquisition, ASO and creative. Media is separate, billed by the platforms, with an agreed media budget. We agree the app changes, messages, channels and measurement in writing.

### A live app and its useful action

- Your app is live and you can name the useful action a new user should take.
- Your team can approve app and message changes and explain the events you track today.
- This is the full paid growth program. Managed media has an agreed budget, separate from the service fee.

### Media and major app changes

- Media spend is separate and billed by the ad platforms directly.
- A new app, major feature builds and migrations outside the written scope need a separate quote.

Illustrative walkthrough

## From first open to a reason to return

Paid monthly growth. Initial three months. Media has its own agreed budget, billed separately.

1. Open the app

Start with the task that made the user install. Show a clear way to begin.

2. Finish a useful task

Review the steps needed to get one useful result. Choose the action to measure.

3. Make the paid step clear

Review where the trial or paywall appears and how it explains the paid value.

4. Give them a reason to return

Use push or email that fits the action taken, then measure return use and payment.

Illustrative app journey. The app changes, messages and measures are agreed in scope.

## Following a new app user

1. ### Choose the first useful action

Name what a new user came to do. Review the steps and events between opening the app and doing it.

2. ### Make that step easier

Plan changes to the first session, trial or paywall. Follow up with messages tied to what the user did.

3. ### Read what happens next

Review who completes the action, returns and pays. Keep recent results separate from groups that have had time to return.

Relevant work

## See how we approach retention

Our published service covers the first session, the paywall and messages sent around real app use. It measures return use, trial-to-paid and value over time.

[See the retention service](https://www.strataigize.com/services/mobile-app-marketing/user-retention/)

Use the service outline to discuss the first part of your app experience to work on.

## Show us where new users stop.

Use a 30-minute conversation to explain your app, the first task and where people leave. Discuss what the growth program would cover. You do not need to send user records or account access to book.

## First-use questions

Is this a one-off retention sprint?

Retention work is part of the full mobile growth retainer. The program brings acquisition, store work, creative and retention together. It starts with three months, then continues month to month.

Do you work on the app or only the messages?

The service covers both the in-app moments and the messages around them. We agree which app changes your team will ship and what we will deliver before work starts.

Does the monthly fee include ad spend?

No. The service has an agreed monthly fee. Media is billed by the platforms directly, with an agreed media budget.

How will we know whether a change helps?

Choose the user action and comparison before the change. Read completed actions, return use and payments over a suitable period. If the available data cannot separate the effect of a change, the report says so.
