AI Consulting

# AI advice from people who ship it.

Most AI consulting ends at a slide deck. Ours ends at a costed workflow inventory, a scored shortlist, and a 90-day roadmap we are willing to build against.

Overview

## Where AI pays back, _and where it does not._

AI consulting has a credibility problem, and it is deserved. The standard engagement produces a maturity model, a list of use cases copied from a vendor deck, and no number anyone can be held to. Six months later nothing has shipped and the budget is gone.

We start from the work instead of from the technology. What does your team actually do, how many hours does each of those things cost, how often does it go wrong, and how bad is it when it does. Only then do we ask which of them a model can do well enough today, because that question is meaningless without the first four answers.

The output is a costed inventory, a scored shortlist, a payback estimate for the top candidate with its assumptions written down beside it, and a 90-day sequence. It regularly recommends buying a tool, or doing nothing in a given area yet. That is the point: a roadmap that only ever says build is a sales document.

We can advise on this because we run it. Our own agency is operated by an agent fleet in production, and we publish both what it saves us and what has broken. If you already know what you want built, our [AI agent development](https://www.strataigize.com/services/ai-agent-development/) line takes one bounded workflow at a fixed price, and [AI workflow automation](https://www.strataigize.com/services/ai-automation-services/) is the operations layer that runs it afterwards.

We serve the US and Canada from downtown Vancouver. If you are local, the [Vancouver page](https://www.strataigize.com/ai-automation-agency-vancouver/) covers in-person kickoffs and how we build under PIPEDA and BC PIPA. Canadian companies funding this work should read [how the BDC LIFT program works](https://www.strataigize.com/bdc-lift-program/).

Everything is published: the audit, the pilot build and the retainer are all listed on the [pricing page](https://www.strataigize.com/pricing/).

How it works

## From guesswork to _a costed plan._

01

### Inventory

We map the work your team actually does, by hours and by cost, before naming a single tool.

02

### Score

Each workflow is scored on volume, cost, error rate and how reversible a mistake would be.

03

### Prove

One candidate gets a real payback estimate with the assumptions written down beside it.

04

### Roadmap

A 90-day sequence: what to build first, what to buy, and what to leave alone on purpose.

05

### Govern

Access scope, approval gates, audit trail and the kill threshold agreed before anything ships.

Questions

## AI consulting, _answered._

What does an AI consultant actually deliver?

A decision you can act on. In our case that is a workflow inventory costed in hours, a scored shortlist of what AI can do well today, a payback estimate for the top candidate with its assumptions written beside it, and a 90-day roadmap naming what to build, what to buy and what to leave alone. Two weeks, a fixed $7.5K, and it stands on its own whether or not you hire us to build anything.

How is this different from your automation and agent pages?

This page ends at a decision. AI agent development is the build line, one bounded workflow at a fixed price with a kill threshold. AI workflow automation is the operations layer that runs and maintains them. If you already know what you want built, skip the consulting and go straight to one of those.

Do you only recommend things you can sell us?

The roadmap regularly says buy the off-the-shelf tool, or do nothing here yet. We would rather lose the build than put an agent on a workflow that does not carry enough volume to pay for its own maintenance. The audit is priced so it is worth doing on its own.

What makes you qualified to advise on this?

We run the thing we are advising on. Our own agency is operated by an agent fleet in production, with published numbers for what it saves us and published write-ups of what has broken. We would rather point at that than at a certification.

What does AI consulting cost?

The AI Opportunity Audit is $7.5K fixed over two weeks. If it leads to a build, pilot builds are $25K to $60K fixed and production support starts at $8K per month. Every figure is on the pricing page.
