Mobile app development

# Ship the app, then grow it.

iOS and Android builds from a team that markets apps for a living, so store review, tracking and the growth model are designed in rather than bolted on.

What it is

## The short version.

Most apps are built by one company and marketed by another, and the seams show. Store metadata is written the week before launch, the events needed to measure retention were never instrumented, the paywall cannot be tested without a release, and the first paid campaign discovers all of it at once.

We build apps the way we would want to market them, because we do market them. That means the store listing, the event schema, the attribution wiring and the paywall are decisions made during the build, not afterwards. It also means we design against the App Store and Google Play review guidelines from the start, which is the difference between a launch date and a rejection loop.

We ship cross-platform with React Native and Expo where one codebase is the right answer, and native where it is not. We have built and shipped a production React Native app on this stack ourselves, deliberately with no tracking SDKs and no accounts, to prove the review path end to end before putting a client through it.

The growth proof we publish is growth proof: [52,873 installs in a month at $0.70 each for Podz](https://www.strataigize.com/case-studies/podz-52873-installs-in-a-month-at-70-cents/), [a 127% download increase for Kleo in a 30-day ASO sprint](https://www.strataigize.com/case-studies/127-increase-in-downloads-kleos-30-day-app-store-optimization/), and [8.54x ROAS on an AI fitness app's subscription funnel](https://www.strataigize.com/case-studies/ai-fitness-app-achieved-8-54-roas/). Build with us and that team is already in the room. See [mobile app marketing](https://www.strataigize.com/services/mobile-app-marketing/) for the growth side and [software development](https://www.strataigize.com/services/development-services/software-development/) for everything that is not an app.

How we run it

## The loop, _start to finish._

An app is built once and marketed for years. The loop puts the growth decisions inside the build.

STEP 01

### Scope the first release

The smallest version that proves the core loop, with the paywall, events and store listing on the plan from day one.

STEP 02

### Build with review in mind

React Native and Expo or native, chosen for the app, designed against App Store and Google Play guidelines so submission is a date on the calendar.

STEP 03

### Instrument everything

Event schema, attribution and paywall states wired during the build, so retention and return on ad spend are measurable the week you launch.

STEP 04

### Ship the listing with the app

Metadata, screenshots and a first creative set produced alongside the code.

STEP 05

### Hand to growth

The same team that built it runs or supports the launch, so nothing is rediscovered in the first paid campaign.

Why it compounds

## Launch day is _a growth day._

Speed

### No rejection loop

Designing against the review guidelines from the start turns store approval into a date on the calendar.

Measurement

### Answers on day one

Retention, paywall conversion and payback are readable at launch, because the events were built with the features.

Continuity

### Same room, both halves

Build and growth from one team means the handover that costs most apps months never happens.

What's included

## Done for you.

### iOS and Android

React Native and Expo where one codebase is right, native where it is not, with the review guidelines designed in from day one.

### Instrumented at build time

Event schema, attribution and paywall states wired during the build, so retention and ROAS are measurable at launch.

### Store-ready listing

Metadata, screenshots and a first creative set produced alongside the build.

FAQ

## Mobile App Development, answered.

Do you build the app and market it, or one or the other?

Either, and the case for both is that the handover is where apps lose months. If you only want the build, we will still instrument it so whoever markets it later is not starting blind.

React Native or native?

React Native and Expo when the app is mostly product surface and one codebase halves the maintenance. Native when you are leaning on platform capability that the bridge makes awkward. We will tell you which one your app is rather than defaulting to the stack we prefer.

How long does a build take?

A focused first version is typically eight to sixteen weeks depending on scope and how much backend already exists. We scope in phases so the first release is small enough to ship.

What does an app build cost?

Development starts at $25K fixed and is scoped per build, published on our pricing page. Ongoing growth work is priced separately as a retainer.
