Welk model maakt de beelden in ChatGPT in 2026?

Weet voordat je iets kopieert tegen welk model je praat. ChatGPT gebruikt DALL-E 3 niet meer: OpenAI verving het in 2025 door de ingebouwde beeldgeneratie van GPT-4o, stopte in 2026 volledig met de DALL-E-modellen en maakt beelden nu met de GPT Image-modelfamilie. De huidige generatie, ChatGPT Images 2.0 (sinds april 2026 aangedreven door gpt-image-2), geeft tekst leesbaar weer, volgt lay-outinstructies en voert gerichte bewerkingen uit die alleen veranderen wat je vraagt.

Twee praktische punten voor 2026:

• Gratis abonnementen hebben een klein daglimiet voor beelden. Volgens meldingen uit de community gaat het om een handvol beelden per dag, en OpenAI past de limieten aan de vraag aan, terwijl betaalde abonnementen er flink meer krijgen. • Modelnamen wisselen snel, goed prompten niet. Zo haal je het meeste uit deze prompts

Een paar gewoonten maken het verschil tussen verzorgde resultaten die bij je merk passen en generieke AI-output, welke versie van ChatGPT je ook gebruikt:

• Noem het formaat in gewone taal. Vraag direct in de prompt om „staand 9:16 voor Stories” of „brede 16:9-banner”. ChatGPT levert vierkante, staande en liggende beelden zonder speciale flags of opdrachten.
• Weet wat de renderbegrippen betekenen. Verschillende prompts hierboven gebruiken afkortingen uit de fotografie en 3D-studio’s. CGI (computergegenereerde beelden) vraagt om een gerenderde look van advertentiekwaliteit in plaats van een foto. HD (hoge resolutie) en 4K of 8K verhogen detail en scherpte. “35mm lens” legt een natuurlijke, dichtbije uitsnede vast. Cinema 4D en Blender zijn namen van 3D-software, en wie er een noemt, vertelt het model welke stijl het moet nabootsen. Laat een begrip weg als je het effect niet wilt.
• Bewerk in plaats van opnieuw te genereren. Stuur vervolginstructies als „hetzelfde beeld, maar met een marineblauwe achtergrond” in plaats van helemaal opnieuw te beginnen. De huidige GPT Image-modellen houden compositie, belichting en onderwerpen consistent over bewerkingen heen.

Grotendeels wel. De opbouw (onderwerp, setting, stijl, belichting, formaat) werkt ook in Gemini, Midjourney en andere tools, al verandert de toolspecifieke syntaxis, zoals de --ar-flags van Midjourney of het bewerken via gesprek in Gemini. Vervang de verwijzingen naar render-engines (Cinema 4D, Blender) door stijlbeschrijvingen als een tool er moeite mee heeft.
