Vancouver has one of Canada’s densest AI scenes: more than 180 companies in the region build or integrate AI, and the province counts 500+ AI companies overall. Yet the shortlist shrinks fast once a local business wants the automation built for them, not another product to configure and run themselves. This is that shortlist. Every entry below says who it suits and who should look elsewhere, ours included, and names the firm that beats us on the thing we are weakest at.

1. Strataigize (that’s us)

Location: Vancouver, BC (700 W Georgia St)

Website: strataigize.com

We put ourselves first on our own list because we are the only agency here that runs its own entire business on the AI agents it sells. Our internal agent fleet handles reporting, monitoring, research, and operations, and we published the full case study with the numbers: 50+ hours a week reclaimed across a small senior team.

The delivery model is human-in-the-loop AI workflow automation: the AI does the busywork, a person approves anything that matters. Engagements start with a working session to find the highest-value repetitive workflow, then one automation built end to end so you see measured time saved before anything scales. When that workflow is outbound pipeline, the build follows our guide to an AI lead-gen system that pairs buying signals with human-reviewed outreach. Our AI automation agency in Vancouver page has the local detail: in-person kickoffs at 700 W Georgia, Pacific-hours support, and how we build under Canada’s federal privacy law (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s own Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

Good fit if: you want automation built by people who live on it daily, with marketing and growth expertise attached when the workflow touches revenue.

Look elsewhere if: you need a large delivery bench for a multi-year enterprise program; Integrio or Netwit carry more raw capacity.

2. Rex Automaton

Location: Vancouver, BC

Rex Automaton designs, builds, and runs production workflows, voice agents, and outreach systems for small and mid-size B2B operators, and has automated 150+ businesses since 2018. Founder-led by Jacky Lei, the shop focuses on the $500K to $10M revenue band where a single rebuilt workflow shows up in the owner’s week immediately.

Good fit if: you want a high-touch boutique that stays on after launch.

Look elsewhere if: you sit well outside the $500K to $10M band, or you need several workstreams running at once. This is a founder-led shop and its capacity is one team’s.

3. Nurture Close

Location: Vancouver, BC

Nurture Close builds AI chat and voice assistants that qualify leads and book appointments around the clock, and held a 5.0 Google rating across 18 reviews when we checked in July 2026. If your problem is specifically speed-to-lead, calls and enquiries going cold before a human responds, this is the specialist play.

Good fit if: lead response time is the bottleneck and you want it fixed with voice and chat AI.

Look elsewhere if: your bottleneck is anywhere other than lead response. This is a specialist in one workflow, not a shop that will take on your reporting or your onboarding. Its rating also sits on a small review count, so ask for references at your size.

4. Netwit

Location: Vancouver, BC

Netwit builds multi-agent systems it calls an Agentic OS (operating system), aimed at running sales, marketing, CRM, and operations autonomously for clinics, real estate, and law firms. It works out of 666 Burrard Street downtown and reports 1,000+ automations deployed across a group of brands covering voice agents, marketing, and email infrastructure, which makes it the volume operator on this list. It has announced a rebrand to VZU, so check which name you are contracting with.

Good fit if: you want a bigger agentic deployment and value delivery scale over boutique attention.

Look elsewhere if: you want founder-level attention on a single workflow, or you need contractual certainty this quarter. A rebrand in progress is a poor moment to sign a multi-year agreement.

5. D&D AI Agency

Location: Vancouver, BC

D&D AI Agency pairs AI automation with AI-assisted web design, SEO, video, and CRM integration for local businesses. Founded by brothers Damon and Dillon Hui and listed on DesignRush, it suits owners who want one small shop handling the website, the marketing, and the automation together.

Status check, September 6, 2026: ddaiagency.com returned a 404 placeholder page when we rechecked it. The DesignRush listing is the only public profile we could still reach, so confirm the firm is operating before you shortlist it.

Good fit if: you are a local SMB consolidating digital work with one team, and the firm confirms it is still taking work.

Look elsewhere if: you need to verify a supplier before you brief it. Its own site was a 404 placeholder when we rechecked, and a directory listing is not evidence that anyone is answering the phone.

Our own site, cited here as the worked example

6. Integrio Systems

Location: Vancouver, BC

Integrio Systems has built custom software since 2000 and reports 200+ delivered projects, and now focuses on AI applications, intelligent automation, and predictive analytics. It is the closest thing on this list to a traditional enterprise software partner with an AI practice.

Good fit if: you need enterprise-grade builds with two decades of delivery history behind them.

Look elsewhere if: you want one workflow automated in weeks. This is a custom-software partner and its delivery structure is sized for larger programs, which is a slow and expensive way to buy a single automation.

Two firms we removed, and why

A&H Solutions, removed September 13, 2026. It was ranked sixth here until we rechecked it. The only offices A&H publishes are 10107 Jasper Avenue in Edmonton and 1209 Mountain Road NE in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Vancouver appears on its site as one of roughly seventeen service-area pages, with no local address and no local phone number. That is the exact shape this list says it excludes, so leaving it in place while claiming a local bar would have made the bar meaningless. It may still be a capable development shop. It is not a Vancouver one.

Osellus, removed earlier. The osellus.com destination returned an Apache test page when checked September 5, 2026. That does not prove the business has closed, but it does not verify a current team, service offer or client list either, so the recommendation came out pending a current primary source.

How we picked this list

Every firm here was checked against its own site or an independent directory in July 2026, and rechecked on September 13, 2026. The bar is a real Vancouver presence and a verifiable AI automation or AI agent service. Programmatic “Vancouver” landing pages from firms with no local operations are excluded, and one entry was removed on that test in the recheck above rather than left in with a caveat. A firm that appears in local search results, AI Automation Systems, was omitted because we could not verify it.

Where the September recheck changed what we found, the entry carries a dated status check rather than a quiet edit, so you can see what moved and when. Numbers attributed to a firm are that firm’s own published claim, and where the recheck could not find a figure on the firm’s site we removed it rather than leave it standing.

FAQs

How much does an AI automation agency in Vancouver cost?

Most local engagements start with a fixed-scope first workflow or audit in the low thousands at smaller shops; our own published entry points are a $7,500 AI Opportunity Audit and a $25,000 to $60,000 fixed pilot build (see our pricing page), with ongoing retainers scaling by the number of automations maintained. Ask any agency for a fixed price on the first workflow and a written success metric; walk away from open-ended hourly discovery.

What should I automate first?

The highest-value repetitive workflow that touches revenue or eats senior time: lead response, reporting, intake, follow-up. Rank the candidates by hours times frequency, the method in where service businesses should start with AI automation. A good agency will find it in one working session; our AI readiness scorecard gives you a head start in ten minutes.

AI agents or workflow automation, which do I need?

Workflow automation moves data between systems on triggers. Agents make judgment calls inside the workflow. Most businesses need automation first and agents where decisions bottleneck; an honest agency will tell you which is which before quoting.

Do these agencies serve clients outside Vancouver?

Every firm on this list works remotely across North America. A Vancouver head office matters most if you want in-person working sessions or local references you can call.
