Best AI Automation Agencies in Canada (2026)

The top AI automation agencies in Canada for 2026: Strataigize (Vancouver) for human-in-the-loop AI agents with published internal results; The Automators (Calgary) for fast PIPEDA-aware voice and chatbot deployments; Flexlab (Toronto) for AI agent systems from MVP to enterprise; plus Integrio Systems, Netwit, Kanguru, and Digital Fractal. Canadian businesses hiring for AI automation face a market split between offshore dev shops with Canada landing pages and a small set of firms actually operating here. This list is the second group only: every entry has a verifiable Canadian head office and a real automation or AI agent practice, checked in July 2026. We include ourselves, at number one, and every entry below names who it suits and who should look elsewhere, ours first.

1. Strataigize (that’s us)

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, serving the US and Canada

Website: strataigize.com

We rank ourselves first, so here is the work. Strataigize is the only agency on this list that runs its entire own operation on the AI agents it sells, and publishes the internal case study: 50+ hours a week reclaimed across a small senior team, with a human approving anything that matters.

The service is human-in-the-loop AI workflow automation: discover the highest-value repetitive workflow, build one automation end to end, prove the time saved, then expand one or two automations a month with monitoring and governance built in. Because we are also a growth agency, automations that touch revenue (lead response, reporting, lifecycle) come with marketing judgment attached, not just plumbing. British Columbia buyers can read the local detail on our AI automation agency in Vancouver page, including in-person kickoffs downtown and how we build under PIPEDA and the province’s own Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

Good fit if: you want measured, reversible automation from a team that lives on it daily.

Look elsewhere if: you need a 50-person delivery bench for a multi-year enterprise program; Integrio and Netwit carry more raw capacity.

2. The Automators

Location: Calgary, Alberta

The Automators builds custom AI voice agents, chatbots, and workflow automation with deployments in 2 to 6 weeks, and frames delivery around Canadian compliance: PIPEDA and CASL awareness is part of the pitch. Founded in 2024, the firm reports 50,000+ hours of manual work eliminated across 30+ businesses.

Good fit if: you want fast deployment and compliance framing from a prairie-based boutique.

Look elsewhere if: you want a long delivery record behind the compliance story. Founded in 2024, this is the youngest firm here.

3. Flexlab

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Flexlab covers AI chatbots, generative AI applications, predictive analytics, AI agent systems, and workflow automation, spanning startup MVP work through enterprise deployments, with 200+ companies served worldwide per its site and PIPEDA-aware delivery.

Good fit if: you are Toronto-based and want one firm able to grow from a first chatbot to an agent system.

Look elsewhere if: you want a specialist rather than a generalist. Its service list runs from chatbots to predictive analytics to enterprise deployments, which is range, not depth in your particular problem.

Chart: The decision rule, in one view. The constraint decides before the economics do.

4. Integrio Systems

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia (Toronto workspace)

Integrio Systems has operated since 2000 and reports 200+ delivered projects, now focused on AI applications, intelligent automation, and forecasting systems. It is the most established software house on this list, with the delivery structure of a traditional custom-dev partner.

Good fit if: the automation is one piece of a larger enterprise software build.

Look elsewhere if: you want one workflow automated in weeks. A custom-dev partner’s delivery structure is a slow and expensive way to buy a single automation.

5. Netwit

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia

Netwit builds multi-agent AI systems for sales, marketing, CRM, and operations from a head office at 666 Burrard Street in downtown Vancouver, and reports 1,000+ automations deployed across a group of brands covering voice agents, marketing, and email infrastructure. That breadth cuts both ways: more delivery capacity than any boutique here, less of the founder-level attention the smaller shops sell. The firm has announced it is rebranding to VZU, so check which name you are contracting with.

Good fit if: you want a large agentic deployment and value throughput.

Look elsewhere if: you want founder-level attention on one workflow, or you need contractual certainty this quarter. A rebrand in progress is a poor moment to sign a long agreement.

6. Kanguru

Location: Montreal, Quebec (also Toronto)

Kanguru is a full-service digital agency, 20+ years old, that added AI integrations and business software to a stack covering web, mobile, and marketing. For Quebec businesses, bilingual delivery inside one long-established shop is the draw.

Good fit if: you want AI folded into a broader digital transformation with a bilingual team.

Look elsewhere if: AI automation is the whole job. This is a full-service digital agency that added AI to a web, mobile and marketing stack, so the automation practice is one line of many.

7. Digital Fractal

Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Digital Fractal builds AI agents, workflow automation, and apps with a footprint in Alberta industry and the public sector, and 4+ years of delivered AI projects. The regional and industrial focus is the differentiator: energy, logistics, and government workflows look different from SaaS back offices.

Good fit if: you are an Alberta industrial or public-sector buyer.

Look elsewhere if: you are outside Alberta or outside industry and government. The regional and sector focus that makes it strong for energy and public-sector work is the same thing that makes it a worse fit for a SaaS back office.

How we picked this list

A verifiable Canadian head office, a real AI automation or agent practice confirmed on the firm’s own site or an independent directory (DesignRush, Sortlist), and enough public proof to name. We excluded the programmatic “Canada” landing pages of offshore dev shops that rank for these searches but operate no Canadian practice. Self-published rankings were used for discovery only, never as verification, including this one: check our claims the same way, starting with the links in each entry.

Every number attributed to a firm above is that firm’s own published claim, rechecked against its site on September 13, 2026. Where a figure was no longer on the firm’s own site we removed it rather than leave it standing, which is why Integrio now shows delivered projects only. Netwit’s entry was corrected in the same pass: it publishes a Vancouver head office and a count of automations deployed, not the office footprint and customer count we previously carried.

FAQs

How much does AI automation cost in Canada?

Fixed-scope first workflows and audits typically land in the low thousands of dollars at smaller shops; our own published entry points are a $7,500 AI Opportunity Audit and a $25,000 to $60,000 fixed pilot build (see our pricing page), and production agent systems and retainers scale from there by workflow count and complexity. Insist on a fixed price for the first build and a written success metric with a kill threshold.

Does PIPEDA change how automations get built?

Yes. Client data flowing through AI models is personal information handling under PIPEDA, so the agency should show you where data goes, what the model providers retain, and a signed data processing agreement. Firms that answer that question fluently self-identify as the serious ones.

AI agents or workflow automation first?

Automation first for predictable trigger-and-move work, agents where a judgment call bottlenecks the flow. Most Canadian SMBs get further, faster with two boring automations than one ambitious agent. Our guide to where service businesses should start with AI automation shows how to pick those two, and our readiness scorecard shows which you need in ten minutes.

Can a Vancouver or Calgary agency serve a Toronto business?

Every firm here works remotely across Canada and most serve the US too. Pick on fit and proof, not postal code, unless you want in-person sessions.
